Interstate 15 in California
Interstate 15 in California is a very important road. It helps people travel north and south through the state. It connects big places like San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino.
This road is part of a much longer highway. It goes all the way to the border with Canada. It passes through several states like Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, and Montana.

In the southern part of San Diego, the road changes from an Interstate to a state highway called State Route 15. This shorter part of the road is being improved. Soon, it will become part of Interstate 15. When this happens, the whole Route 15 in California will be almost 295 miles long.

Different parts of Interstate 15 have special names. For example, it is called the Escondido Freeway or the Ontario Freeway. The name depends on where you are on the road.
