Kolonos
Kolonos is a lively neighborhood in Athens. It is a place where many families and friends live close together, sharing their daily lives.
The area is named after an ancient spot called Hippeios Colonus. Long ago, Kolonos was part of a small community in ancient Attica, called a deme.
One fun thing about Kolonos is its football club, Attikos F.C. This team began in 1919 and has been a proud part of the neighborhood ever since. People in Kolonos love to cheer for their team.
Remember, Kolonos is different from places like Kolonos Hill or Agoraios Kolonos. It is a special and busy part of Athens, full of history and life.
