Kyriakos Mitsotakis
Kyriakos Mitsotakis is the prime minister of Greece. He has been in this important job since July 2019. He leads the New Democracy party and works hard to help his country.
Kyriakos was born in Athens on March 4, 1968. When he was young, his family had to leave Greece for a little while because of some political troubles. They went to Turkey and then to Paris before coming back to Greece in 1973. He went to school at Athens College and then studied at Harvard University and Stanford University.
Before becoming prime minister, Kyriakos worked in many jobs. He started as a financial analyst at Chase Bank in London. He also worked with McKinsey & Company and helped with big projects for phone and financial services. Later, he worked with Alpha Bank and started his own business.
Kyriakos began his political career in 2003. He worked hard and became the leader of the New Democracy party in 2016. In 2019, his party won the election, and he became the prime minister of Greece.
Kyriakos is married to Mareva Grabowska, and they have three children named Sophia, Konstantinos, and Daphne. He can speak English, French, and some German. His family has a long history in Greek politics. His father, the late Konstantinos Mitsotakis, was also a prime minister of Greece.
