Long Beach is a big, sunny city by the ocean in California. It is part of Los Angeles County and is close to downtown Los Angeles. The city is known for its busy port, beautiful waterfront, and fun events.

Long Beach has many exciting places to visit. One of the most famous spots is the RMS Queen Mary, a huge old ship that you can tour. You can also visit the Aquarium of the Pacific to see sea animals like sharks and fish. The city has lovely parks, like El Dorado Regional Park, where you can fish, play archery, or have a picnic.

Long Beach hosts many fun events throughout the year. Every April, the Grand Prix of Long Beach brings exciting car races. There are also parades, like the Naples Island Christmas Parade, and festivals such as the Long Beach Sea Festival in the summer. These events are great for families and friends to enjoy together.

Long Beach is also home to California State University, Long Beach, a large university where students can study many subjects. The city has good schools for children and adults to learn and grow.

Getting around Long Beach is easy! The city has many bus routes, and you can also use the Metro A Line light rail to travel to other places. There are bike paths and walks for people who like to ride bikes or walk. The Port of Long Beach is a busy place where big ships come and go, bringing goods from all over the world.
