Margalla Hills
The Margalla Hills are beautiful hills in Pakistan. They are part of the Margalla Hills National Park in the Punjab region. These hills are close to the city of Islamabad and are very special for nature lovers.
The Margalla Hills are full of plants and animals. Because they get a lot of rain and have a warm climate, many different kinds of trees and bushes grow there. You can find many birds, like the rose-ringed parakeet and Himalayan bulbul, living in these hills. There are also animals such as the rhesus macaque and Indian boar.
These hills have some very old caves called the Shah Allah Ditta Caves. Inside these caves, there are old paintings and special places that people visited long ago. The hills also have many trails for hiking and exploring.
People work hard to protect the Margalla Hills. Groups like the Margalla Hills Society and WWF-Pakistan teach children and others how to care for nature. They organize fun activities to help everyone learn about keeping the hills safe and beautiful.
The Margalla Hills have many lovely spots to visit, such as Daman-e-Koh, Pir Sohawa, and Shahdara, Islamabad. These places are perfect for enjoying the outdoors and seeing the wonderful nature that the hills have to offer.
