The Tallest Mountain in Sierra Leone

Mount Bintumani, also called Loma Mansa, is the tallest mountain in Sierra Leone. It stands very high at 1,945 metres (6,381 feet) and is part of the beautiful Loma Mountains.

The lower parts of Mount Bintumani have lush rainforests. These special forests are full of amazing animals. You can find pygmy hippopotamuses, tiny dwarf crocodiles, and rufous fishing-owls living there. Many different kinds of monkeys and other primates also make their homes in these forests.

Mount Bintumani and the areas around it help keep these wonderful animals safe. The mountain is a special place where nature is protected, and many people visit to learn about and enjoy the beautiful wildlife.
