North Asia

North Asia is the big, cold part of Asia in the north. It is mostly in Russia and touches many big places like the Arctic Ocean, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, East Asia, the Pacific Ocean, and Northern America.

This area is huge! It is the biggest part of Asia, with lots of space and not many people. The land has wide, flat parts and some tall mountains. One special place is the Kamchatka Peninsula, where there are active volcanoes.

Many different groups of people lived here a long time ago. Today, most people in North Asia are from Russia. Some of the biggest cities there are Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, and Vladivostok. These cities are important places for work and living.

North Asia has lots of natural resources like oil and gas, which help many people. Even though it is very cold in many places, it is an important part of the world.
