Peshawar is a wonderful city in Pakistan. It is the biggest city in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa area and has over one and a half million people living there! Nestled in the Valley of Peshawar, this city is very old—people have lived here since long, long ago.

Peshawar has been an important place for many, many years. Long ago, big empires like the Kushan Empire made it their home. Later, people from all over came to trade here. Even famous travelers and leaders visited Peshawar. The city has seen many changes, but it always stays strong and full of life.

Peshawar has many exciting spots to explore! You can visit the Mohabbat Khan Mosque, a beautiful building with tall towers. The Peshawar Museum is a treasure chest of old art and stories from the past. And don’t miss the busy Qissa Khwani Bazaar, where you can see lots of shops and hear many languages.

Sports and Games

Sports are super fun in Peshawar! The city loves cricket. Big matches happen at Arbab Niaz Stadium. Kids here enjoy playing many games, and there are special places like Qayyum Stadium where people play football and other sports too.

Peshawar is a place where lots of people go to school and learn new things. There are many colleges and big schools, like the University of Peshawar. Young students come from everywhere to study and dream big!
