The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences is a special group in Sweden. It helps scientists share their ideas and supports new researchers. People all over the world know this academy because it gives out very important prizes each year.

One of the biggest prizes is the Nobel Prizes in physics and chemistry. These prizes are given to people who do amazing work in science. The academy also gives other prizes for great discoveries in many areas of science.

The academy is located in Stockholm, the capital city of Sweden. It is a place where scientists from many countries come together to learn from each other. The academy has many members, including scientists from Mathematics, Astronomy and space science, Physics, and Chemistry.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences was started a long time ago, on June 2, 1739. It was created so scientists could share their knowledge and make new discoveries. Today, it continues to help science grow and inspire young students to learn about the world around them.
