San Bernardino is a lively city in California, part of the United States. It is the biggest city in San Bernardino County, and many people call it home.

The city has a long history. It was named long ago by a person from Spain. Today, San Bernardino is a busy place with many things to see and do.

Fun Places and Events

San Bernardino holds happy events all year. In the autumn, people enjoy the Route 66 Rendezvous, and in spring, there is the National Orange Show Festival. These events let everyone have fun together.

The city has cool museums too! The Robert V. Fullerton Museum of Art has beautiful art from faraway places. The Heritage House shows old items from San Bernardino’s past. There is also a museum about trains and history inside an old train station.

Sports and Parks

Sports fans love San Bernardino! The California State University, San Bernardino has teams that play many games. There are also places for motorcycle races and baseball games.

The city has big parks where families can play. Perris Hill Park is one of the largest. It has sports fields, swimming pools, and trails to walk on. Glen Helen Regional Park is another fun spot with hills and lakes.

Learning and Growing

San Bernardino has many schools. Children go to the San Bernardino City Unified School District schools. The city is also home to California State University, San Bernardino, where many students study and learn.

Getting Around

The city has buses to help people move around. There are special bus lines that connect different parts of San Bernardino, making it easy to visit friends or go to school. There are also train stops where people can ride to other cities.

San Bernardino is a place full of energy and history. Whether you like art, sports, or just having fun, there is something for everyone in this wonderful city!
