Saskatchewan Roughriders

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are a fun Canadian football team. They play in Regina, Saskatchewan, a city in Canada. The team is part of the Canadian Football League and is in the West Division.

The Roughriders started in 1910. They are one of the oldest teams in the world! Only three teams are older than them.

Fans love the Roughriders. They are called the Rider Nation. Even though they play in a smaller city, they have many fans all over Canada.

The team has won the Grey Cup five times. This is a big prize in Canadian football.

The Roughriders have a special mascot named Gainer the Gopher. Gainer is a gopher, a type of squirrel that lives on the Canadian Prairies.

The team plays its games at Mosaic Stadium. Fans often wear fun costumes to show their support.

The Roughriders have many talented players. Some players have been honored by being placed in the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.

The team has a big rivalry with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Games between them are very popular.
