Shenzhen

Shenzhen is a big and busy city in Guangdong province in China. It is very close to Hong Kong and sits near the Pearl River.
Shenzhen became a city in 1979 and grew very quickly. It is known as China’s Silicon Valley because many important technology companies started there, like Huawei and Tencent. The city has many tall buildings and is a major center for technology, trade, and making things like cars.
Shenzhen is a lively place with lots of people—about 17.5 million live there. It is one of the busiest cities in China, after only Shanghai and Beijing. The Port of Shenzhen is one of the busiest ports in the whole world!
The city has many fun things to see and do. You can visit tall buildings, parks, and even beaches. Shenzhen also has great food, including tasty Cantonese dishes, and you can find foods from all over the world.
Shenzhen is a young and exciting city where people from all over China and the world come to work and live. It is a place full of energy, new ideas, and lots of opportunities.
