Stadio Olimpico

Stadio Olimpico is a very big sports place in Rome, Italy. It is where two famous football teams, S.S. Lazio and A.S. Roma, play their home games. The stadium can hold more than 70,000 people, making it one of the largest in the country.

The stadium is located in the Foro Italico area, in the northwestern part of Rome. Building it started in 1928 and finished in 1953. Over the years, it has been used for many exciting events. It was the main venue for the 1960 Summer Olympics and has hosted important football matches, like games in the 1990 FIFA World Cup and the 2009 UEFA Champions League final.

Besides sports, the stadium is also a wonderful place for concerts. Many famous singers have performed there, including Claudio Baglioni. In 1998, a record of 90,000 fans came to see him perform, making it one of the biggest concert crowds ever in the stadium.

Stadio Olimpico has also been used for rugby matches. Since 2012, Italy has played its Six Nations Championship games there. It is a busy and happy place where people love to watch sports and enjoy music together.
