The Tagus River
The Tagus River is the longest river in the Iberian Peninsula. It starts in the mountains of Spain and flows west for a very long journey. Along the way, it passes beautiful towns and cities.
Finally, the Tagus reaches the Atlantic Ocean near the famous city of Lisbon in Portugal. This river is very important to the people who live near it. It gives them water to drink and helps them grow food.
The Tagus has been a friend to people for many years. It helped connect different places and made travel easier. Today, people still enjoy the river by boating and other fun activities. The Tagus is a special part of both Spain and Portugal.
