Teknaf

Teknaf is a small town in the south-east part of Bangladesh. It is the very bottom point of the mainland part of the country. Nearby, you can find beautiful places like St. Martin's Island, which is a tiny island in the sea.
The name Teknaf comes from the Naf River, a river that runs along the east side of the town. This river is also the border between Bangladesh and Myanmar.
Teknaf is an important place for trading with nearby countries. The town has many people who live in nine different parts called wards. It is a quiet place with a rich history.
