Trampolining is a fun and bouncy activity where people jump up and down on a special spring bed called a trampoline. It’s like playing on a big, soft bed that bounces you high into the air! Many athletes from all over the world love to trampoline, and it is even an Olympic sport now.

People do many cool moves while bouncing, like flips and twists. They practice a lot to get better and to stay safe. Athletes are scored on how hard their moves are and how well they land. Good landings mean they stay balanced and in the middle of the trampoline.

Trampolining started a long time ago when a man named George Nissen saw trapeze artists bouncing on nets. He built the first modern trampoline in his garage and named it after a Spanish word. Soon, trampolining became popular in school gyms in the United States and other places like Europe and the Soviet Union.

There are different kinds of trampolining, like bouncing together in pairs or doing flips on a flat surface called tumbling. All of these activities need practice, strength, and good balance. Trampolining is a great way to stay active and have fun while learning new skills!
