The University of Michigan is a big school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is one of the oldest schools in the United States, starting in 1817. Many students go there to learn many different subjects.

The school has a very large campus with lots of buildings. One famous building is Michigan Stadium, which is the biggest stadium in the United States. The sports teams are called the Wolverines and play in the Big Ten Conference.

Students at the University of Michigan can join many clubs and teams. There are over 1,400 groups for students to be part of. They can play sports, make music, or help their community.

Many famous people went to the University of Michigan. Some are leaders, scientists, writers, and athletes. For example, Tom Brady, a famous football player, went to Michigan. The school also has smart teachers who help students learn and discover new things.
