The UOP Burns Tower is a prominent building located in Stockton, California.

The University of the Pacific is a special school where students can learn many things. It is in the United States, with the biggest part in Stockton, California. Other parts are in San Francisco and Sacramento.

The university started a long time ago, in 1851, in Santa Clara, California. It was the first school in California to let boys and girls study together. It also was the first to teach music and medicine on the West Coast.

Students at the University of the Pacific can choose from many subjects. They can study business, dentistry, music, law, and more. The school has pretty gardens and tall columns on its Stockton campus. Some movies were filmed there because it looks like famous schools on the East Coast.

One fun part of the university is the Holt-Atherton Special Collections and Archives. It has important items about John Muir, who helped make the National Parks. Visitors can see exhibits and learn about his life.

The university also has three main places where students can learn and live. Each campus has its own special things, like a dentistry school in San Francisco and a law school in Sacramento. The university works hard to help the environment, with solar panels and gardens on campus.
