The Wet Season
The wet season is a special time of year when a lot of rain falls. This happens in many warm places around the world. During the wet season, plants grow quickly, and rivers fill up with fresh water. It is very important for farming because crops like rice and maize need this rain to grow.
In some places, the wet season is also called the rainy season or the monsoon season. It usually lasts for at least one month. In many areas, the rain comes in the afternoon or evening. This rain helps clean the air and makes the land green and beautiful.
The wet season can happen in different parts of the world. Places like Florida, India, and Australia all have their own wet seasons. Some areas even have two wet seasons in a year! During this time, animals and people prepare for the rain. Some animals, like cows, have their babies when the wet season starts.
Even though the wet season can bring challenges like floods, it is very important for nature and farming. It helps rivers flow and gives water to plants and animals. People plan their lives around this special rainy time.
