Buildings can be some of the most amazing and impressive structures we see around the world. This list shows the most expensive buildings ever made. To be on this list, a building must have a roof and walls and stay in one place all the time. We don’t include airports because their cost includes things like runways, but we do include airport terminal buildings. Some buildings on this list are still being built—they have reached their tallest point but aren’t finished yet. These buildings are important because they show how much money, effort, and skill go into making huge and wonderful places for people to use.
