Mozambique has taken part in the Summer Olympic Games twelve times. Its first time was at the 1980 Olympics in Moscow, Russia. Mozambique has never been in the Winter Olympic Games.
Each time Mozambique joins the Olympics, athletes from the country compete in different sports. They show their skills and work hard. The Olympics are a special event where people from many countries come together to enjoy sports and fair play. For Mozambique, this is a chance to be part of something big and to inspire many young people.
