Stanford University Medical Center is a teaching hospital in America. It includes Stanford Health Care and Stanford Children’s Health. The center works with the Stanford University School of Medicine to help doctors learn and get better at their jobs.
In 2022–23, it was ranked as the third-best hospital in California by U.S. News. It was behind Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and UCLA Medical Center. It was also ranked the tenth-best hospital in the whole country. The center is important because it gives good care to patients and supports medical research and learning.
Stanford Hospital
Stanford Health Care is at 500 Pasteur Drive, Stanford, California. The main hospital is in Palo Alto. It is one of the best hospitals in the United States and teaches doctors at the Stanford University School of Medicine. The hospital has many important parts, like the Stanford Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Neurosciences Health Center.
Stanford Hospital is good at helping with heart health, organ transplants, and cancer treatment. It sees over 100,000 people in emergency each year. In 2017, it was named the 9th-best hospital in the United States by U.S. News & World Report, and third-best on the West Coast after the UCSF Medical Center and the UCLA Medical Center.

Lucile Packard Children's Hospital

Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford is a famous hospital for children and women. It is part of the Stanford University Health system and is located at 725 Welch Road in Palo Alto, California. Founded in 1991, the hospital has many doctors and staff who help care for babies, children, teens, and young adults up to age 21. Sometimes, it also helps older adults and mothers who are expecting babies. The hospital is one of only seven in California that is specially equipped to handle serious injuries in children.
