Wells Fargo Pavilion

The Wells Fargo Pavilion is a special part of the H Street Theatre Project in Sacramento, California. It has a round stage that is 32 feet wide. The theatre can hold up to 2,200 people and covers 53,000 square feet. It is where the Sacramento Music Circus puts on shows during the summer.

History

The Wells Fargo Pavilion began as a place for shows in Sacramento, California. It was built where an old tent theatre once stood. This tent, named the Music Circus, started in 1949 and had light operas and other performances under a large tent. In 2003, a new building opened there. This building looked like the old tent but had modern features, like better lighting and a special stage.

For many years, it was called the Wells Fargo Pavilion. At one point, it might have been renamed, but that did not happen. In 2022, it became known as the UC Davis Health Pavilion after a new partnership.
