Sweden sent a team to compete at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, People's Republic of China. Many athletes from Sweden came together to represent their country in various sports. The Olympics is a special event where people from all over the world compete in different games and sports. It happens every four years, and in 2008, it took place in Beijing. Wrestling

In the men's Greco-Roman wrestling events, Ara Abrahamian from Sweden initially won a bronze medal. However, he was later disqualified for his actions during the medal ceremony. He disagreed with a call made during his match and expressed his protest in a way that the judges did not approve of.

The women's freestyle wrestling events also took place, with Swedish athletes competing.
