AS Roma is a famous football club from Rome, Italy. People also call them "Roma." The club started in 1927 when three old football teams in Rome joined together. Since then, Roma has become one of the best teams in Italian football.
Roma plays in a big stadium called Stadio Olimpico. They share this stadium with another team, Lazio. The stadium can hold many fans, and it is very exciting to watch a game there. Roma’s colors are carmine red and golden yellow. Because of these colors, fans call the team “I Giallorossi,” which means “The Yellow and Reds.”

The team’s badge shows a she-wolf, which comes from the story of Romulus and Remus, the twin brothers who founded Rome. This symbol makes Roma unique and connects the team to the city’s history.
Roma is very popular, and fans are passionate. The matches against Lazio are very exciting, known as the Derby della Capitale. It is a special event for everyone in Rome.
