A Special Land
Bhutan is led by a King, who is very important to the people. The King works together with a prime minister to help the country. Bhutan is known for its calm ways and tries to keep things peaceful. The capital city, Thimphu, is where many people live and work. It has beautiful buildings and busy streets.
Nature and Animals
The land of Bhutan changes a lot! In the south, it is warm with green forests. In the north, it is very cold with high mountains. One of the tallest mountains is Gangkhar Puensum. Bhutan is also home to special animals like the rare takin, a big, fluffy creature that looks like a cross between a goat and a cow.
