What is CNES?

CNES is the main space agency of France. It helps plan and carry out space missions. Scientists and engineers work together to explore the universe.

Where is CNES?

The CNES is based in central Paris. It has two big centers: the Toulouse Space Centre and the Guiana Space Centre. These are where many satellites and rockets are prepared and launched.

Why do we know about CNES?

CNES is very important for space science and technology in Europe. It works with other countries to make discoveries about Earth, our solar system, and beyond. CNES helps improve our understanding of space and how it affects our daily lives.

CNES has been working on space missions since 1961. It was started under President Charles de Gaulle and is one of the oldest space agencies in the world.
