Welcome to Denmark!

Denmark is a lovely country in Northern Europe. It is part of the Nordic countries and sits between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. To its east, you will find Sweden, and to the south is Germany. Denmark is made up of the main part of the Danish Realm, which also includes the Faroe Islands and Greenland.

Islands and Cities

Denmark has over 1,400 islands, but many are very small. The biggest island is called Zealand, and that is where the capital city, Copenhagen, is located. Copenhagen is a fun city with many parks, bikes, and cool places to visit. Other big islands in Denmark are North Jutlandic Island, Funen, and Lolland. Many of these islands are connected by bridges, making it easy to travel around.

Denmark is known for being a peaceful and fair place to live. People there work together to help each other, and the country is very good at taking care of its citizens. Denmark is also rich and works hard to help other countries around the world. The government makes sure everyone has access to good schools, hospitals, and other important services.
