E-commerce

E-commerce, or electronic commerce, is a fun way to buy and sell things using the internet. Instead of going to a store, people can shop from their homes or anywhere with the internet. This makes it easy and quick to get the things they need or want.

E-commerce started in California in 1984. It usually uses websites, but it can also use other ways to talk, like e-mail. Some famous places to shop online are Amazon and the iTunes Store. People can buy all sorts of things, from books to music, and even toys!

There are two main types of e-commerce. The first type is about what is sold, like digital content or regular products. The second type is about who is involved, like businesses selling to customers (B2C) or customers selling to each other (C2C). Big companies and banks use the internet to share financial information, making trade easier all around the world.

E-commerce helps businesses grow and reach new customers. Small businesses especially like it because it helps them sell more and earn more money. Today, many people use their phones to shop online, which is called mobile commerce. Companies also use fun tools like Facebook 3D Posts to help customers see products better before they buy.
