In Europe, old ways of doing things changed. New governments formed, and people began to think more about their rights. This led to big events like the French Revolution. Many new inventions helped people travel and trade better.

Asia and Africa also saw changes. In China, the Ming dynasty ruled, and later the Qing dynasty took over. Japan went through times of fighting and then became more organized under the Tokugawa shogunate. In India, the Mughal Empire grew big and strong.

The early modern period was a time when the world became more connected. People from different places started to share more with each other through trade and travel. This helped everyone learn about new cultures and ideas. It was a time of excitement and discovery!
