Gabriel

Gabriel is a special angel who brings important messages in many religions. He is known in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

In Christianity, Gabriel tells a man named Zechariah that his wife will have a son named John the Baptist. Later, he tells a young woman named Mary, mother of Jesus that she will have a special son named Jesus. This is called the virgin birth.

In Islam, Muslims believe Gabriel gave the messages of the Quran to the prophet Muhammad. Gabriel helps share important news from God.

Gabriel’s name means “man of God.” He is one of the most famous angels and is remembered for sharing big and important news to help people.
