Giuseppe Meazza

Giuseppe Meazza was a famous Italian football player and later a coach. He was born on August 23, 1910, in Milan, a beautiful city in Italy. Meazza is remembered as one of the greatest football players of all time.

Meazza started playing football when he was very young, just six years old! He loved the game and worked very hard to get better. He played mostly for a team called Inter Milan. With Inter Milan, he helped the team win three important prizes called Serie A titles and one Coppa Italia.

Meazza also played for the Italian national team. He helped Italy win two big tournaments called the World Cups in 1934 and 1938. Because of his amazing skills, he was chosen for an All-star Team.

After his playing days, Meazza became a coach. He coached teams in Italy and even in a country called Turkey. One of the big stadiums in Milan, called San Siro, was named after him: Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Meazza passed away on August 21, 1979, but he is still remembered as a football legend. In 2011, he was added to the Italian Football Hall of Fame. People everywhere love to talk about his wonderful football journey!
