The Lincoln Tomb

The Lincoln Tomb is a special and quiet place where Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States, is buried. He is resting there with his wife, Mary Todd Lincoln, and three of their sons: Edward, William, and Thomas. This beautiful tomb is located in Oak Ridge Cemetery in the city of Springfield, Illinois.

The tomb is made of strong granite and has a tall tower called an obelisk that reaches up into the sky. Inside, there are shiny marble walls, special statues, and a colorful stained glass window. It is a very peaceful place where people can visit to remember Abraham Lincoln and his family.
