It is home to two big teams: the Atlanta Falcons, who play in the National Football League, and Atlanta United FC, a soccer team in Major League Soccer. The stadium is owned by the state of Georgia and run by the group that also owns the Falcons and Atlanta United FC.
Since it opened, the stadium has hosted many exciting events. These include big college football games like the Peach Bowl, and even the Super Bowl LIII in 2019. It will also host the Super Bowl LXII in 2028 and some matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The stadium has fun places to eat and watch games. Fans can enjoy food from many Atlanta restaurants. There are also special areas to watch other games and relax.
