North Sumatra

North Sumatra is a beautiful part of Indonesia on the island of Sumatra. It is home to many people and has some very special places.

The biggest city in North Sumatra is Medan. It is busy and full of life, with many places to eat and see. North Sumatra is also where you can find Lake Toba, a huge lake made long ago by a volcano. It is one of the biggest lakes in the world!

North Sumatra has many different kinds of people. Some are called Batak, and they live mostly around Lake Toba. Others are from places like Java Island or faraway lands. Everyone has their own traditions and stories.

People in North Sumatra love music and dancing. They play drums and other instruments at parties and special days. There are also many tasty foods, like spicy dishes and sweet snacks.

North Sumatra has many farms where people grow rubber, tea, and coffee. It also has forests with interesting animals and beautiful waterfalls. The Kualanamu International Airport makes it easy to visit, and there are roads and trains to explore.

North Sumatra is a wonderful place with friendly people, exciting places, and delicious food!
