The Northern Limestone Alps

The Northern Limestone Alps are a beautiful group of mountains in Europe. They are part of the big Alps and sit north of the Central Eastern Alps. You can find these mountains in Austria and a small part of Germany, especially in the region of Bavaria.

The Northern Limestone Alps stretch from west to east. They start near the Rhine river and go all the way to close by Vienna. Some of the tallest peaks here are Parseierspitze and Zugspitze, which is the highest point in Germany.
