Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—called STEM—are important school subjects. They help us understand nature, create new tools, design useful structures, and use numbers to solve problems. These subjects work together because they need careful thinking and smart ways to find answers.
STEM subjects help people invent new things and improve technology. Learning about them is also important for finding jobs and keeping countries strong.
STEM includes science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Teachers and leaders talk about STEM when they plan what children should learn in school. It helps students get skills for the future.
Many countries focus on STEM education. For example, China gives out many STEM degrees, more than any other country. India and the United States also have many STEM graduates. Programs in schools and special events help students learn and love these subjects.
STEM is important everywhere! It helps make the world better by creating new tools, solving problems, and helping people understand amazing things about nature.
