What is Technology?

Technology is a way we use our knowledge to make things happen. It helps us do many things in our daily lives. From the tools we use to the machines that make our work easier, technology is all around us.

Simple Tools to Big Machines

Long ago, people used simple tools like stone tools to help them hunt and gather food. They also discovered how to control fire, which kept them warm and helped cook food. One of the biggest inventions was the wheel. It made travel easier and helped people build more machines.

Sharing Ideas

New inventions like the printing press made it easier to share ideas. Later, the telephone let people talk to each other from far away. Today, the Internet connects us all, letting us share information quickly.

Helping Us Live Better

Technology helps us in many ways. It makes our lives easier, helps us stay healthy, and lets us do more things. But we also need to think about how to use technology wisely so it helps us and our planet.
