Shah Alam

Shah Alam is a city in Malaysia. It is the capital of the state of Selangor. The name Shah Alam means "king of the world" in Persian.

Shah Alam became Selangor's capital in 1978. Before that, the capital was Kuala Lumpur. Shah Alam was planned as a new town to help people live comfortably.

The city has many places to visit. One of the most famous spots is the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque, also called the Blue Mosque. It has a tall blue dome and four tall minarets. The mosque is very beautiful and can hold many people.

Shah Alam also has parks like the Shah Alam Lake Gardens, where families can walk, play, and enjoy nature. There are also animals like peacocks and geese in the park.

People in Shah Alam can travel easily. The city is connected to other places by highways and trains. There are also buses and taxis to help people get around.

Shah Alam is a modern city with many schools and hospitals. It is a place where people from different backgrounds live together and work in harmony.
