Welcome to Sikkim!
Sikkim is a beautiful state in northeastern India. It is surrounded by tall mountains and is very small and not very crowded. Sikkim is special because it has many different kinds of people and cultures living together.
A Land of Tall Mountains
Sikkim is part of the Eastern Himalaya and is home to Kangchenjunga, the highest peak in India and the third-highest mountain in the world. The land is full of hills, rivers, and glaciers. One of the most famous rivers is the Teesta River, which flows through the state. The climate changes a lot, from warm and sunny in the south to very cold in the north.
