The Pentagon

The Pentagon is a very big office building. It is where many important people work for the United States Department of Defense. You can find it in Arlington County, Virginia, which is close to the Potomac River and not far from Washington, D.C..

The Pentagon has five sides, which is why it is called β€œthe Pentagon.” It was built a long time ago, and many thousands of people come to work there every day. Inside, there are offices, places to eat, and even rooms to rest and think.

A long time ago, the Pentagon was damaged during a very sad event. After that, the building was fixed, and special memories were made to honor those who were affected. Today, the Pentagon is still an important place for the U.S. military.

Near the Pentagon, there is a beautiful place called Arlington National Cemetery, where people can visit and remember special moments.
