A Fun Man Who Made Magic
Walt Disney was a wonderful man who loved to draw and tell stories. He was born on December 5, 1901, in Chicago, Illinois. As a little boy, he lived in Missouri and loved drawing pictures. He even drew pictures for his school newspaper!
Later, Walt moved to California. There, he started making fun cartoons with his brother Roy. Together, they made a big company called the Walt Disney Company. Walt is most famous for creating a happy mouse named Mickey Mouse in 1928 with his friend Ub Iwerks. Mickey Mouse became a friend to children all over the world.
Walt loved to make new things. He made cartoons with beautiful colors using Technicolor. He also made long cartoons called feature-length films, like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and Cinderella. These stories are still loved by many today.
In the 1950s, Walt built a very special place called Disneyland in Anaheim, California. It was the first ever theme park, where families could have fun together. Walt also made TV shows like Walt Disney's Disneyland and The Mickey Mouse Club, so even more people could enjoy his magical worlds.
Walt Disney passed away in 1966, but his magic lives on. His company keeps making wonderful stories and theme parks that make children smile. He received many awards for his amazing work and is remembered as a man who brought joy to the world through his cartoons and parks.
