Welcome to Yukon!

Yukon is a special place in Canada. It is very big and wild, with lots of forests and mountains. The biggest city is Whitehorse, where many people live and visit.

Yukon is shaped like a triangle. It touches British Columbia to the south, the Northwest Territories to the east, the Beaufort Sea to the north, and Alaska to the west. The land is full of rivers and lakes. One famous river is the Yukon River, which runs through the whole territory.

The weather in Yukon can be very cold in winter and warm in summer. People enjoy outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, and even dog sledding! The lights in the sky called the aurora borealis are a big attraction for visitors.

Yukon has a rich culture with many stories and traditions. People love to celebrate with festivals and races, like the Yukon Quest dog sled race. Artists paint beautiful pictures of the land and its animals.

Yukon is a wonderful place to explore nature and learn about different cultures. It is a land of adventure and beauty!
