The Atlanta Falcons are a professional football team based in Atlanta. They play in the National Football League and are part of the National Football Conference South division.
The Falcons began playing in 1965 and joined the NFL in 1966. Over the years, they have had many exciting seasons and have been to the Super Bowl two times. Even though they haven’t won a championship yet, they are an important part of Atlanta’s sports history.
Today, the Falcons play their home games at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which opened in 2017. The team’s offices and practice areas are in Flowery Branch, just north of Atlanta in Hall County.
The Falcons have many loyal fans and have created lasting memories for people in Georgia and beyond. Their journey continues to inspire new generations of football enthusiasts.
