The Grand Trunk Road is one of the oldest and longest roads in Asia. It has been used for over 2,500 years! This amazing road connects places from Bangladesh to Afghanistan.

The road starts near a place called Teknaf in Bangladesh and goes all the way to Kabul in Afghanistan. It is very long โ€“ about 3,655 kilometers! Along the way, it passes through many big cities like Dhaka, Kolkata, and Delhi.

Many important people helped make and improve the road over time. Long ago, Emperor Ashoka added trees and places for travelers to rest. Today, parts of the Grand Trunk Road are still used, and people have made them wider and safer for cars. It is a special path that has helped people travel and share for thousands of years.
