The Late Middle Ages

The Late Middle Ages was a time in Europe from about 1300 to 1500. It came after the High Middle Ages and before the Early Modern time. This was when many big changes happened.

During this time, new ideas from old Greece and Rome started to grow again. This helped start something called the Italian Renaissance. People also began to make books easier to share. This was because of a new way to print books.

Explorers started to look for new ways to travel. One famous explorer, Christopher Columbus, sailed to the Americas in 1492. Another explorer, Vasco da Gama, sailed to India in 1498.

The Late Middle Ages was also a time when countries began to grow stronger. Leaders made new rules, and people started to think more about their own ideas. This time was important because it helped start what we call modern history today.

Many things changed during the Late Middle Ages. People learned new ways to make things and share ideas. This time was full of discovery and growth, and it helped shape the world we live in today.
