Manado
Manado is a happy city in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is the second biggest city on the island of Sulawesi after Makassar. Manado is a lovely place to visit because of its beautiful sea and parks.
Near Manado, there is Bunaken National Park, famous for its bright and colorful fish. People love to swim and explore the water there. The city has an airport called Sam Ratulangi International Airport, which makes it easy to travel to other places in East Asia and Southeast Asia.
Manado is known for its friendly people and big Christmas celebrations. The city has a special feeling of peace and kindness.
The name Manado comes from an old word that means "on the far coast." It reminds us of a time when people first saw the land from far away.
