Canada at the Olympics
Adapted from Wikipedia · Adventurer experience
Canada has joined every Winter Olympic Games and every Summer Olympic Games, except for the 1980 Summer Olympics. That year, Canada boycotted the games with the United States and some others.
Canada has always brought home at least one medal when it joins the Olympics. The Canadian Olympic Committee is in charge of Canada in the Olympic Games.
One of the proudest moments for Canada was at the 2010 Winter Olympics. That year, Canada won the most gold medals. This was extra special because the games were in Vancouver, British Columbia. It was a happy time for Canadian athletes and fans.
Hosted Games
Canada has hosted the Winter Olympic Games two times. The first time was the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. The second time was the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
