Norway had the maximum number of skiers for the cross-country events, with eight men and eight women. Unfortunately, some athletes like Simen Hegstad Krüger, the 2018 champion, and others tested positive for COVID before the games started. However, Krüger later recovered and won a bronze medal in a race that was shortened to 28 km due to weather.

Norway took part in the curling events at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. They had both a men's team and a mixed doubles team. The men's team earned their spot by doing well in a qualifying event in 2021, and the mixed doubles team qualified by finishing high in a world championship the same year.

The men's team had some days off during the round robin part of the competition, called draws. The mixed doubles team also had a few days when they didn’t play, known as byes. Both teams competed in several draws, and the mixed doubles team went on to play in the semifinal and final matches.
