The city has three professional teams: the Carolina Panthers for football, the Charlotte Hornets for basketball, and Charlotte FC for soccer. There are also cool places like Carowinds, a fun amusement park, and many museums to explore.

A Growing City

Charlotte has grown very fast. Many people have moved there to live and work. It is a big place for jobs, especially in banking. Big companies like Bank of America, Honeywell, and Truist Financial have offices here.

Nice Weather and Nature

Charlotte has warm weather and lots of green spaces. It is near beautiful lakes, such as Lake Norman. You can enjoy walking, playing, and having fun outdoors.

A Special Name

Charlotte was named after Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, who was a queen from a long time ago. People have lived in this area for many years, and the city has grown from a small place to a big, busy city.

Charlotte is a wonderful place with lots to see and do. Whether you love sports, nature, or just want to explore, you will find something fun in Charlotte!
